I was on my twitter account today and was really upset at some of my fellow networkers. Auto-respond to leads from your lead page or capture page from your business website is ok. IT is a WHOLE "notha" level to autopilot your tweets.
Can I share something with those of you reading? Autopilot tweets "piss" people off. So much to the point where they want to stop following you. Especially when all of your tweets are business opportunity messages.
The 1# reason your MLM Fails on Social Networks....
Social Networking has a point. That point is to build relationships. If you build relationships, you gain trust. People trust you, therefore they will buy from you over and over again and tell others about you. These people will eventually become leads. And even they do not, you have developed a very loyal and committed following.
Social Networking is not another way to cold call, cold text random people into buying your products. Let's face it, the reason why most of us choose to do MLM and affiliate marketing online was to avoid chasing friends, family and strangers and bullying them into buying or joining our down-line. So why make it hard on yourself now.
I understand autopilot thank you messages that will not be seen by others. Direct messages help affiliate marketers, celebrities, etc.- especially if you have a lot of people following you. But please stop with the biz opportunity tweets all day every day and then resend that same message to everyone on your list. #1 if you didn't know (WE CAN ALL SEE IT) and #2 it makes you look like spam.
Maybe I am venting a little bit, maybe I see from the Social Training I know and love, that it totally defeats the purpose of social networking in hopes of gaining trust.
