The Two Kinds of People
There are two types of people- those with a hustle mentality and those who remain stagnant. The difference between the two is clear to see in the meaning of the two words, but there is more to this that is seen on the surface.
People who have a hustle mentality are those who have been through it all and can find their way out. Fired, laid off, whatever the situation- they know that if they do not take the steps to prosper, NO ONE else will. Now I'm not taking about some illegal drug money or stupid decisions like that, I am talking about YOU owning up to your responsibility in life to life and make a living so that you can survive. A man who knows his wife and children need food will wake up extra early to look for a job, work extra hard at two or three jobs, talk to everyone he knows for LEADS to a job or money source.
Now, if we are in situations that force us to have a hustle mentality, we can have this same action when we are presented with an opportunity to make money without making tons of excuses. Truth be told, if we didn't want to make money, we wouldn't even research business opportunities or look at those with money in awe on what are they doing to not have to work a regular "corporate" 9 to 5. So what is stopping us from having a go-getter mind set in the first place?
A stagnant thinker knows that he or she needs to take care of home and financial responsibility but blames others and sometimes God for the situation they are in and instead of working on it, they stay in a depressed state, developing low self-esteem. This causes them to believe that when money opportunities come, that they do not deserve it, or that they could not possibly make that much money doing something so simple.
The Lie they told us about Employment
Sorry folks but we have been formally educated into thinking that we need a boss. We have been lied to and told that the only secure way of making a living is to formally send out a resume to a corporation that will have good benefits for our families and a semi ok salary or paid by the hour check. No...I don't think so. You have seen what the unemployment rate is, right?
More and more people are losing their jobs and America is in a recession. No government money, no corporate money, so how are you going to survive?
How about working for yourself. How about funding your own business without having to depend on credit scores, bank loans and other debt gathering ways to keep yourself in more and more debt...
See when you think you can make money without making excuses, you achieve it. When you hang out with others that are like-minded you succeed. The Book of Proverbs tells us specifically that a wise man hangs with wise men while the fool gathers and hangs out with other fools.
Stagnant people throw themselves pity parties and honestly are not even being productive because while they know they have to survive, they sit and wait and wait. In this world, its about the survival of the fittest, no one will take care of you but you. If you have a strong faith in God, a strong will and determination to succeed and a hustle mentality, you can take on the world. It is sad to see even some friends and family who are stagnant and have been that way for many years. This "new generation of money", as my mentor Cindy Goodson loves to say, (who have been taught by her mentor Tracye Walker, the leading female MLM network marketing success coach), has their hands into everything. This includes marketing and promoting their brands in places the older generation of the game never would have thought to go (Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and are doing it effortlessly. Why is that?
Are you still caught in the "Matrix"
Well, its because we have come out of the "Matrix". We see it for what it is and have made the choice between the blue and the red pill. We are choosing to determine our own wealth instead of letting a boss tell us how much we are worth. Do you see yourself making 5 figures a month? IF not, you should think about it and really give it a shot. You can if you just do it and stop making excuses on why you can't or why it seems impossible. Faith is not a mere word to be used lightly. Faith is the impossible, its unseen and its the hustlers who will make it in this business. IF you remain stagnant, you might as well keep your day job making your minimum wage.
